HI Ken,
My first Dupuis (Dupeux) came to Acadia (now Nova Scotia, Canada) from France cir 1650 - 60 . He was married here to Marie Francois Gautereau about 1664 probably at Port Royal. I am descended from this couple in three different lines.

There is some dispute about exactly where he came from but I use the Lachausee, Loudon, Vienne, France till proven otherwise.
