I am Mary Ellen DuPre-Burns living in Mendham, New Jersey.
My father is Arthur F. DuPre who is living in Islen, NJ.
His father was Joseph J. DuPre who lived in Abbieville,SC. I am told the family was from Charleston.
His father was Frank A. DuPre who married Nannie Schroeder in 1889. Besides Joseph, they had a son named Frank.
It seems that his father was Joseph N. DuPre.
My grandfather, Joseph J. DuPre died in 1955 in an airplane crash in Alaska while working for AT&T. His brother died in the mid 1920's.
