There were many Bergerons and Dupre (Dupuis) that lived in Kankakee County, Illinois. Some were related through marriage.

I am forwarding Posted Message 265 that I received today.

there are tomb stones in st.joseph catholic cem in chauvin,la.with the names of AMADEE and MRS>AMADEE DUPRE on them..they are located behind the statue of blessed mother on top of my grandpa's grave..they have been there for yrs and yrs..only can guess they are buried behind him and markers are put there so they can cut the grass with no grandpas name is gilbert is near the side entrance to church..there are no dates on them,just names...
