I am also searching Dupont surname. My great great grandfather was Dolphis Dupont who married Julie Paradis Jan28, 1857 St. Jean, I.B.Their daughter is Hermine Dupont m. Narcisse (Joseph) Smith Jul 17, 1871 Barford, Quebec. This has been a very difficult branch to research. Have you ever heard of any of these people?
