Jean Baptiste Dupont did marry Marie Zelinie Guillory. Their son, Pierre married Adelaide Guillory. Pierre's eldest son, Modelise Dupont, was my grandfather.
I found record of Charles Dupont & Marie Rose Nucere's wedding in SW LA Records - Opelousas. It indicates marriage 7 Nov. 1814 (Opel Church, V.1, p. 259) It also gives his parents as Nicolas Dupont and Marie Ann Blanchard. On the same page is recorded birth of Jean Baptiste and Onesime, but both much earlier than you mentioned. I've seen entries of Merante Dupont as son of a Charles Dupont and Marie Rose & she is referred to as a woman of color. Because of the dates & other things that don't match, I don't believe he was the son of the same Charles & Marie Rose. Elizabeth has long been a mystery to many of us researching this family. Again I (& some of her descendants) have no proof she was the dgt. of this couple. There are records indicating more than 1 Charles Dupont in LA during the 1800s.
In addition, your dates don't match. If Charles & Marie Rose were married in 1838, why were their children(?) born so much earlier? You show Merante b. 1821, Elizabeth b. 1831, Celestin and Jean Baptiste married the same date as their parents, and Onezieme married 3 yrs. before his parents! Where did you get your information?
