Research into my wife's ancestry indicates through baptism records at St. Bruno's, Van Buren, ME and marriage records of Madawaska by Fr. Henri Langlois that Eleanore Dupere, dau. of Joseph Dupere & Therese Fournier married Hubert Nadeau on 19 Aug 1851 and their son Firmin was baptised on 11 June 1852. No other children are recorded. Was Rene Dumont her second husband? Do you have any additional information to shed some light on this? Also my wife's family lore claims a Micmaq somewhere in the line. Have you found this person?
