I'm seeking information about the twelve children of John Alexander Dunwoody (born in TN 1847) and Elizabeth Ann Davis (born in GA 1848). The twelve are Gertrude b. 1871(a.k.a. Stella/Trudie), Braxton b. 1869, Clarence b. 1873, William, Clyde b. 1877, Daisy May (1875-1944), Austin Hawkins (1878-1960), Margaret, John, Lucy, Dovie Lee b. 1887) and Pearl Irene (1889-1956). My grandfather was Austin and my mother Jane Dunwoody Alvarez is his only living daughter, since her older sister Hazel died December 13, 1996.

I'm especially interested in finding a living relative of Elizabeth Ann Davis who is a member of the Cherokee Nation, Eastern Band (I think). A job at the Indian Health Service is riding on this. Elizabeth Ann Davis was born in GA in 1848 and was living in Chatooga, GA where her children were born. She is the daughter of William D. Davis and Elizabeth O'Brien (many different spellings) both of NC (she is a grandniece of Nathaniel Greene of the Revolutionary War). I have no names of the siblings of Elizabeth Ann Davis and would like any information you may have.
