There appears to possibly be two Huldahs that are being confused as the same person.
I have no information about the Huldah that married Calvin Sylvestor, but she wasn't the Huldah that married John Dunton, if the birthdates for her and Calvin Sylvestor's children are correct. (Also, there are children being listed as having been born to them after Calvin's death date listed here, so not sure but what maybe this is dealing with two seperate Calvins also?)
Huldah that married John Dunton WAS born Feb 17, 1790, according to the Town Vital records of Etna, Maine. The same record also list the birthdates of their children, which starts with Louisa in 1806, and runs through a total of 8 children ending with Elnathan in 1826. The same record reflects Huldah, the wife of John Dunton died Oct 23, 1829. Huldah must have been about 15-16 when she married John Dunton. Doesn't seem likely she was married previously to that, but she certainly was married to him by Sep, 1806, which made her about 5 months short of 17 years old when their first recorded child was born. She was still John Dunton's wife when she died in 1829, aged 39. Perhaps the Huldah that married John Dunton was a daughter of Calvin Sylvestor, as she named a son Calvin Dunton?
I would like to know if Huldah, the wife of John Dunton, had the maiden name Barden. Do you have a record of their marriage? Do you have a record of the marriage of a Huldah Barden with Calvin Sylvestor?
