Anne I can help you a bit. My wife is Arthur St. Charles Dunstan's granddaughter. I don't know what you know, but here's some of what we have. Arthur St. Charles Dunstan b. March 25, 1871 probably in Fredericksburg, VA. m. Loula Pauline Persons August 27, 1897 in Montgomery, AL. d. August 5, 1959 in Auburn, AL. He was the first professor of electrical engineering at Auburn Univ. and retired as head of the department. Arthur Mell Dunstan was their only child. He was born in Auburn Feb. 25, 1908. He graduated from Auburn Univ. Arthur married Effie Stanley Crittenden in Alabama (probably Montgomery, but I have to check on that) December 23, 1938. Effie is still alive. They lived most of their adult lives in Alexandria, VA. Arthur worked for the Federal government as an engineer specializing in utility rate issues. Arthur and Effie have two children, my wife, Effie Graham Dunstan (always called Graham)b. May 8, 1941 and Eugenia Bethea Dunstan, (always called Genie) b. Nov. 12, 1946. At this point, there are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren of Effie and Arthur. I can send you details but perhaps that's for another day, if you would like to have that information. I started my family history working on Booses and just started doing Graham's family so our children would have a complete picture. Your info about J.H.R. Dunstan was more than we knew. If you have more about him as well as the Thomas Dunstan in Cornwall connection, I would appreciate you sharing the information. Barry Notify Administrator about this message?
