April, Good to hear from you. I always wonder if more information helps or just muddies the water more. Truly, you may be right on any of the theories.
One question, do you have the record of the Marriage of Cornelius to Elizabeth Hodges? I do not have that. It might help some with the puzzle.

"Crobar Dunnavan"- 1678. Could this be our elusive ancestor Cornelius?
