For some years I've been stuck at Adelissa/Adalissa M Dunn who married Robert Mackey (born in OH about 1815) in Caldwell County, KY in 1845. Job Cherry gave security for that marriage.
I'm pretty sure Adelissa is either the daughter of Johnson Dunn and his wife Ann Cherry Dunn or one of Johnson's brothers. I haven't a clue who Robert's parents were but census records for Robert show he was born in OH and both parents were born in PA.
The 1850 Princeton, Caldwell County, KY census shows:
Household 851
Mackey, Robert 36 M Brick Mason Ohio
Adalissa M 25 F KY
Martha J 5 F KY
Johnson Arabel S 3 F KY
The 1860 Princeton, Caldwell County, KY census shows:
Household 369 Mackey, R., male, age 47, Stone mason, born in OH
Martha, female, age 14, born in KY (married Felix Satterfield)
Johnson, male (but it was a girl child), age 12, born in KY (married Tinsley Kilgore)
Lizetta, female, age 7, born in KY (married T J Prince)
Mary, female, age 5, born in KY (I don't know anything about her)
Pernecia, female, age 3, born in KY (this is my line - she married James Rufus Dunn, son of Francis M Dunn and Susan Dunn. Francis was the son of Johnson and Ann Cherry Dunn)
George, male, 8 months, born in KY (I'm pretty sure George moved to the Houston, TX area)
Adalissa isn't present in the 1860 household and the youngest child, George, is 8 months old, so Adalissa may have died between (give or take) October of 1879 and June of 1880. Or perhaps the aliens landed and carted her away!
Household 370 is Mrs. A Dunn, age 60, born in North Carolina, family governess, along with her sons Lowden (James Lowden Dunn), age 31 and Wilbur (Johnson Wilbur Dunn), age 21. This is Ann Cherry Dunn, widow of Johnson W Dunn and mother of Francis M. Dunn who is the father of James Rufus Dunn that later marries Pernecia, daughter of Robert Mackey and Adalissa Dunn Mackey.
Households 368 and 366 are Kilgores. Johnson Arabel Mackey, daughter of Robert Mackey and Adalissa Dunn Mackey married Tinsley Kilgore, apparently.
Household 367 has Jasper Dunn, son of Ann Cherry Dunn and Johnson W Dunn, in household 370, with his wife and two children.
In 1870 Ann Cherry Dunn is in the household of Milton Stephens and wife Abi Eliza, born about 1833. Apparently Abi Eliza is the daughter of Johnson W Dunn and Ann Cherry Dunn so Ann's presence isn't surprising if that's the case.
A few houses down we find Robert Mackey, age 54, with three of his kids in the household of Tinsley Kilgore, who married Robert's daughter, Johnson Arabel.
Finally, in 1880 we find Robert Mackey living with Johnson A Kilgore, age 32 and her kids. Robert is 65 and he and Johnson both are listed as being widowed or divorced.
So where in the world does Adalissa fit in? Job Cherry gave security for her marriage to Robert, Adalissa and Robert named a daughter Johnson, the Mackeys consistently live very near the Dunns and Kilgores and Ann Cherry Dunn is very regularly seen in or near Robert Mackeys house or the house of one of his children.
