I am looking for the Dunn family who was living in the Pearson/St. Louis/Avoca area of Pottawatomie County OK in 1920-1930.
John Nathaniel Dunn (b 1886 in AR) married Myrtle Adkins (b 1890 in AL) in Pottawatomie County OK and had the following children:
Clarence Dunn b 1906 in Pearson OK
Married Alpha Lancaster in c1929 and had a son, Melvin E. 7 months old in the 1930 census
Ernest Dunn b 1908 in Pearson OK
Married Myrtle Lancaster (older siser to Alpha above) in c1929. In 1930 census he is living next door to his brother Clarence and has a younger sister, Idabell, living with him.
Lula Dunn b 1911 in Pearson OK
Willie Dunn b 1915 in Pearson OK
Idabell Dunn b 1917 in Pearson OK
Only thing I have found on her is where she is around 13 years of age and living with her older brother Ernest.
Irene Dune b 1919 in Pearson OK
The family was all living together in the same area in the 1920 census but in 1930 I cannot locate the parents and some of the younger children (except for Idabell) seem to have "disappeared".
Anyone having any info about this family please contact me. I have a lot of information about the mother, Myrtle, as she is a sister to my grandmother.
