I am looking for Jesse Dunn m. Vader? 1930 census shows them in Waterloo, Cherokee Co. AL. They had J.D., Etoy, Ina Hue and Elois.
J.D. lived in Talladega, m. Helen Dockery. They lived with her parents Elmer and Trixie Dockery on their homestead until Elmer passed away. They then moved to Lincoln AL where they bought about 200 acres of land and built a house. They later moved to Albertville AL, Marshall Co. Sand Mountain. I believe that J.D.'s sisters lived in Albertville also. J.D. was my Grandfather, and I am trying to trace my roots from his parents. I can't find anything out about them. I don't know if Vader was her given name or if it was a nickname. I have hit a brick wall and have been looking for 3 years with no luck. Any information that would help would be greatly appreciated.
