Michael,

Yikes! What a surprise you've had. Now I'm not from Middletown, OH nor do I know of any male from that area however, it would seem that you are looking for a male Dunn that was likely born 1927-1937. I looked through the 1930 Middletown, OH census and found John and Eugene Dunn, sons of Esther Dunn born 1924 and 1927 respectively and Robert Dunn, son of Orland Dunn born 1927.

If I had the maiden name of the birth mother and her parents names, I might be able to locate her family and could tell you whether her family of origin was in close proximity to the Dunn family. Unless families relocated a lot, there is a good chance that the birth mother and father grew up together, went to the same high school and worked in the same area.

You may want to research city directories or phone directories for the time period that you are looking in. This is something that can usually be done at the local historical or genealogical society. A search of Dunn families that lived in (or close to) the Middleton neighborhood during the 1950's might reveal information you can use to track down your "donor."

I know this isn't much to go on, but it might help get you started.

I wish you the very best of luck with your search.
