Do you have any connection to a William and Sarah or John Newton b. 1842 and Mary Elizabeth Truss Dunn who lived in Montague Co. in the later part of the 1800's.They were from Georgia but later from Trussville, St. Clair AL butthey also were in Mississiippi a while after the Civil War. There were supposedly 13 children from Wm & Sarah and their son John also had 13, but the only names I have are John's:
William Henry
H. Edward
Ada
Edna
Albert J.
Ena
Jennie
Lovie
and my grandmother Ollie Lorene who Married a Thomas A. Mote from Wise Co.His family was from GA but knew the Dunns before they all ended up in north TX.I have begun to think they were changelings. With all the Dunn families I can't tie them to any although I find many in the same places at the same time. Thanks for any helpyou might offer, or for at leastletting me know more about your Montague family I keep running across so I quit chasing the wrong family.
