Hi Willard,

If you are still looking for info on Michael Dunman who was listed as Mikel Dunn in the 1860 AL census--according to family legend Michael fought in the Civil War and was taken prisoner. He was also wounded. I have been looking for a military record for him. I found one for a Michael Dunn who was taken prisoner. I don't know if this was our Michael or not. I found the Dunn name used more than 2 times for this family.
