Hi,

Most likely your Dunmans come from the same family line as mine. Off hand I don't recognize the name McCoy from my past research, but will keep it in mind when I get time to resume this project. My grandmother, Nell Ople Dunman, was born into the Wallisville Dunman's for sure, she talked about it a lot as she got older, she was proud of it, even though the Dunman's treated her mother Maude pretty badly after she was widowed. Jimmie Dunman was my Grandmother's older half sister, and she is buried in the old cemetery there in Wallisville. There are lots of errors in the census records for the area, the result of poor penmanship by the census taker mostly. The best thing to do is look at every page that has some version of a Dunman result in order to find your Geneva.

Jimmie
