Does anyone know where the "gold mounted Colt's navy pistols" are that the town of Fort Scott gave James Dunlavy in Dec. 1864, after the ones that belonged to General Marmaduke were stolen from him while he was in the hospital in Fort Scott?
I would like to get a picture of them to put with my records.
James Dunlavy was a brother of George Washington Dunlavy, who was my husband's great grandfather.
