I tried posting a message to you weeks ago and in checking tonight it did not go through so here I go again: I think we have a match. I am a descendant from Samuel Dunlap who was born in 1755 most likely in Pennsylvania because his son Samp- son was born there. I think my Samuel might be your Samuel's son. He died May 28, 1839 in Grave Creek, Marshall Co., Va. I do not have a definite name on his wife yet, but his children were: Sampson b. 1802, m. Lois Martin 1822, d. Apr 14, 1830; Nancy b. 1806; Joshua b. 1811; Catherine b. 1813. I have Dunlap information all the way down to my great grandmother who was born in Illinois, went by covered wagon after the Civil War to Kansas, then was among the first settlers in Oklahoma after the Run of 1889. She is buried in Mulhall, Ok. Her name was Lois Eva (Dunlap) Taylor.
