I am searching for the parents of Samuel Cousar Dunlap. I believe Samuel Cousar Dunlap
married Sarah Cowan ?? near the Waxhaw Settlement, Lancaster County, South Carolina.
About 1823 Samuel Cousar and his family moved from South Carolina to Georgia. (((I found some
old articles that claimed that they had a farm in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and it was located
outside of the settlement of Lawrenceville, Georgia- on Pugh Creek 2 miles north of a Methodist
Church. There is also claim that Samuel Cousar Dunlap was the BROTHER in LAW of James Hood.- Furthermore
an article gives an indication that Samuel was the eldest child of 6 boys and 1 girl).)))))
