I am looking for information about Samuel Dunlap who died in Lancaster County,
PA in 1776. It appears that he came from Ireland to the US around 1753.
From reading his will, it looks like he had 4 sons and 2 daughters and a wife
Sarah. I don't know if Sarah is the mother of all the children. I don't know
when Samuel was born or where in Ireland they came from.
I am a decendent from Samuel's son William. The family then moves and buys
land in Coshocton Co, Ohio.
Attached is what I have found.

there in 1770s.

"Samuel Dunlap of Bart Township Lancaster County and province of Pennsylvania...
give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Sarah Dunlap and to my son Samuel and
my son John Dunlap the plantation whereon I now live....to my son William
Dunlap the Sum of Ten pounds to be paid out of my estate two years after my
decease....to my Son in law Samuel McDownl the Sum of Eight pounds....to my son
in law Eleazer Jinkins the Sum of seven pounds....to my son Adam Dunlap the
sum of one hundred pounds.... I do constitute make and ordain my well beloved
wife Sarah Dunlap and my son Samuel Dunlap the Sole Executors.... my hand
and seal this twenty fifth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousend Seven
hundred and Seventy Six..."

Testamentary were granted to Sarah Dunlap.
