Barb,
Kokomo is less than an hour from Muncie, Indiana, which is where Anna Lela King Ullman and her husband John William Ullman lived after their marriage. Their five sons were born there and one of them was my husband's father, Walter Maynard Ullman. What I am wondering now is whether there may be some connection between our Emma Dunlaps since Emma Dunlap King was the mother of our Anna Lela King and they were living within an hour of each other. Our Anna Lela King Ullman died at the age of 36 from what her death certificate lists as "coma gastritis."
Her youngest child was just five years old when she died. Do your Dunlaps have any connection to West Virginia that you know of?
Virginia Coop-Ullman and Walt Ullman
