thomas jefferson dunlap served in the civil war on the confederate side. he and his descendants are pretty well documented. his antecedants are not clear. he served in the Alabama Partisans, a freelance cavalry troop and was later integrated into a georgia cavalry troop. he was courtsmartialled once and docked some pay for something. there appears to be nothing on his place of birth would appreciate any info available. his descendants lived in llimestone co. texas and comanche county that i know of. many of us now live in the De Leon area of central texas.
