Hello! I'm hoping someone here might have a helpful link. I'm looking for Thomas Dunlap, born abt 1850 somewhere in PA, moved to Washington Territory between 1880 and 1882, died in 1893 and is buried in Porter, Grays Harbor County (then Chehalis County), Washington. According to family records he was married to Margaret E. Lord. He is buried next to a Margaret Olds; I wonder if she remarried, or if someone got the name wrong? (Or maybe she's not connected at all.) Anyway, they had four children: Arthur Marshall, Floyd, Alice, and Howard (the first 3 born in PA and the last in Wash. Terr.). Arthur Marshall married Icy Mae Price, and they had one child, Arthur Harvey Dunlap (born in Elma, Chehalis, WA). Arthur Harvey married Maxine Charlotte Bell, and they had three children, Douglas, Richard, and Gerald. Gerald is my dad. Anyway, I am stumped with Thomas Dunlap. I searched for him in the 1880 Soundex and didn't find him, but it's possible I just missed him, or he isn't Soundexed though the household would have had young children. Or perhaps they were already en route to Washington. I have no clue where in Pennsylvania they would have come from, so I don't know where to look next. If anyone has any information that would help, I'd be extremely grateful. Thank you!
