Rev. James Dunlap was born in 1744 in Chester Co, PA; graduate of Princeton; licensed by the Presbytery of Donegal abt. 1778; ordained at Presbytery of New Castle 1781. Moved to West PA (Fayette County) and became Pastor of Dunlap Creek and Laurel Hill Churches. In 1803 he became the President of Jefferson (W&J) College until 1811 when he moved to Uniontown, PA where he was principal of the academy which later became Madison College. He died Nov. 22, 1818 near Philadelphia. I am looking for the names of his parents, wife and children. One child was James who became a U.S. Dist Judge and his grandson (also James), was a surveyor in Butler County.
