I would like to explore a possible connection with you. My DUNGANs of Buck Co PA (1620's-1770)are variously listed in documents as DUNKIN, DUNKLIN, DONGAN, DUNAGAN, etc. They migrated PA to VA to Abbeville Old District 96 SC and then spread out.Several Johns of the 1700's married wives whose names and/or maiden names are "lost" or whose entries end prior to marriage. According to family oral history in my direct line, early generations intermarried with the YOUNGs (and other families) and all migrated together. Both the land records and continuance of Young as a first name and middle name in succeeding generations (usually coupled with Percy) tend to support this, but I haven't found the exact marriage connections.Do you have any more exact dates, locations, or other surnames??? Perhaps we can find a link?
