A book I puchased from a "cousin" Dean Smith Cress, about the Dunkin-Reid family shows that we are cousins.James A. Dunkin born July 4, 1867 and married to Ida Chandler, died 1954 and buried near Vinemount, Cullman County, AL.is the brother of my maternal grandmother, Dera Odessa Dunkin/Keisel, born 1896 in Cleburne County AL and buried in Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington, TX.
That's all the info I have that shows Ida Chandler, but I'll keep looking through my stuff to see if I find anything else.
I live in Granbury, Hood County, TX.This book I bought, shows a relationship to Tunis Hood, and our county was named in honor of John Bell Hood (Confed. General). This book also shows a branch connected to Abraham Lincoln.
Please let me hear from you.
