Jesse Dunham & Catheraine Jersey NY
Jesse Dunham & Catheraine Jersey are my 5th g-Grandparents. Jesse was b.1780/1789 and died in 1871. His wife Catherine b.1796 and d. Sept 16 1883. I only know about 1 son (my 4th g-Grandparent) David Dunham who was born around 1819 in the Town of Maryland NY. He died March 13 1893 of Pneumonia in Schenevus NY. He was married to Louisa Dunham (I don't know if that was her maiden name or not) who was b.~1827 and died June 16 1905.
As for David & Louisa's children, I know of one,.. Morell H. Dunham who drowned Dec 20th 1862 at 14y 2m 10d.I have been trying to find out who their children are because I'm totally clueless as to my 3rd g-Grandparent.
I suspect that David & Louisa may have raised some of their grandchildren. My gg-grandmother was Mary Joanna Dunham 1864-1918. Mary J. married George E. Houghton of Chaseville, Otsego Co. NY (George lived 1860 to 1940 and never remarried after my gg-grandmother died from Scarlet Fever). They had 10 children: Walter Arnold, Harley Monroe, Ransler James, Willis Arthur, Russell Charles, Seward Earl, Warren Ira, Minnie Anne, Dora Louise, and Eva Belle.

I can find many of the given names in the Houghton Line for many generations. I'm thinking that the one's that don't fit into that catagory might give a clue as to the names of Mary J.'s parents/ ie. David & Louisa Dunham's children.

I'm "talkin" 1900s too. It was very odd that I found only that of David Dunham's, any help would be appreciated.
