HaleFam.org says that Jacob HALE (8 Dec. 1744, Essex Co., MA - 3 May 1832, Winchendon [now northern Franklin Co., near the New Hampshire line], MA) m. Ruth TOWNE (ca. 1747, Essex Co., MA - 7 July 1819, Winchendon, MA) had dau.
Mary "Polly" HALE, b. 11 Dec. 1779, who m. 10 Jan. 1800, Winchendon, MA [published VR], Alexander DUNHAM
& had
Clarissa DUNHAM (7 May 1800/1? - 17 Oct. 1857)
Cynthia, 6 July 1802

Miriam, Apr. 1818
Leander/Lisander (13 Feb. 1820 - 9 Je. 1833)
[listed as twins, but they are listed as dying the same day, so this might be a question of spelling the name of one person.]
Daniel D., 12 Nov. 1822
Rhoda, 9 Je. 1824.
--Desc/o Thos. Hale by Robt. Safford Hale (Albany /Weed, Parsons & Co., 1889)
--RootsWeb adds son Alexander, b. 1825, to the family but doesn't include Clarissa or Welthy.
History of Winchendon lists Alexander DUNHAM & wife Mary HALE as being there in 1800.
Ancestry census database (online) shows only Alexander of Worcester Co., MA, in 1800 & 1810, no other DUNHAM.
You can Google "1930 census" and find information on other censuses.Unfortunately, I couldn't find any match for the sons by 1860 when the online index shows households. There was a Thomas J. DUNHAM of the right age.
Do you know the married names of any of the daughters of Alexander DUNHAM & Mary HALE? Do you have any more clues such as names of descendants and other places they lived?
