William P. who Married Margaret Foster 14 March 1871 in Copiah Co., MS was indeed the son of William Dungan b. ca 1791 in SC and his first cousin Nancy Dungan born ca 1804. I have interviewed descendents @ Port Gibson, and they said that they were kin to mine and Pat Fochs Dungan family. Our line is John Dungan and Sarah Woods of Jefferson Co., MS.
I have the following children for William P. and Margaret Foster, may not be all or correct, but this is what i have.
Geoarge H., J. O.(Oscar), Charlie, F.A.(maybe Florence), E.C. (maybe Edgar), A.B. (maybe Anna B.), Mimmie M., and Percy Y. This info from census and a Thomas Dungan of Jackson, now decesaed. I have been working on Dungan's of Jefferson Co., MS for many years. Hope this will help or that I can help in anyway. I also, have large data base for Clarke Co., Al Dungan's. All the same family.
