There are so many of the Dungans, but the William and Nancy that I know are too old. William was born about 1791 and Nancy was born about 1804.

They were in the area however. Nancy is age 60 in 1860 in Claiborne Co., MS. She is alone and listed as a Planter born in SC with William Hartley age 6. Your ancestor could be descended from some of their sons.

Jacob married Caroline McGrew
John married Sarah Woods
Lucinda married George Hartley
Elizabeth married William Hartley
William P married Margaret Foster
James Walker married Mary Luvinia Scott
