Interesting, indeed! My dates came from the cemetery listings in McDonough Co, IL. I also have Ann, b. 19 Dec 1776, d. 19 Jan 1858. I could have made a mistake, so when I go there again in mid-October, I'll take another look. I'll also attempt to visit Hamilton Cemetery, but I'm afraid it is one of those that is not maintained. I think the wife of Isaiah on the 1850 census in Noble Co., IN, is "Ann," rather than "Ahiu." They are living next to my ancestor, Epaminondas Hutton, who also ended up in McDonough Co. If I can think of any way to pursue this before Oct., I will. In any event, will let you know. It certainly bears further investigation.
