According to Alfred Justice in his work, The Ancestry of Jeremy Clarke of Rhode Island and Dungan Genealogy, Elizabeth was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Bowman Dungan and was born on February 28, 1832 and died March 22,1900.

I have documents that indicate that Elizabeth and her husband were probably closely associated with her sister, Mary Parsons Dungan and her husband, Robert Johnstone, also of Germantown.
