My great grandmother died in the early 1970's at 90 years old. She would not or chose not to divulge her name or what our family history was. I was able to order my great grandmother's social security application. This is the first bit of information that we have ever had on my great grandmother. Any information you could provide would be absolutely wonderful and greatly appreciated,
Mary Catherine Dungan (my great grandmother) born November 24, 1884 in Cloud County, Kansas. Her mother's and fathers name are listed on the application as:
Mary Elizabeth Dungan and George Warren Hall
Unfortunately, my great grandmother died when I was a pre-teen and she didn't live in the same city as us, so I didn't ask her questions that I wish I would have now. She did tell me that she came on the wagon train when she was a child to Oregon (where she ultimately died).
