Hello Paul, My line comes from Limerick Ireland. Somewhere I was told that these Dundons originally came from the town of Dundon, near Sommerset, England. This would have been perhaps in the 1300's. Do you have any information about this?

My father changed his spelling to Dunden, I have no idea why. Do you see this happening in the UK?
