This information comes from the Historical Society of Pennsylvania as per their copy of the journal, The Pennsylvania Magazine of History & Biography v.50 Pages 86-87

Quote "George Bartram,Sr., was a Philadelphia dry good merchant, whose partner was JAMES DUNDAS (born in Scotland in 1734; came to Philadelphia in 1757; member of the Patriotic Association of 1778; died January 16, 1788) and whose firm (Bartram and Dundas), on October 25, 1765, signed the historic Non-Importation Agreement."

James Dundas (1734-1788), son of John Dundas of Manor,came to Philadelphia, and married Elizabeth Moore (1758). Their son, John Dundas (1759-1813), married Agnes Hepburn (1770-1820) in 1785 and lived in Alexandria, Va, as a prosperous citizen. In 1793 John Dundas and William Hepburn purchased 4,967 acres on the Mud river. (They are listed as land owners on a Kanawha County Land Owners List is 1791.)
