I have a Thomas Hamilton Duncan who married a Nancy, probably Sweeney in 1860 or 1861. Their headstone can be viewed at find-a-grave. I have seen their family tree all over which incorrectly lists several different children who were born Tennessee.
My Thomas Hamilton Duncan and his wife Nancy are listed in the 1850 census along with their children and can be followed through 1910 census. In 1900 Census Nancy reports having 9 children, 5 of whom are still living. None of them were born in Tennessee - all of her children were born in PA. I have more information if you are interested. I would also like to find proof whether T.H. Duncan's wife Nancy was indeed Nancy Sweeney or not.
