For those interested in seeing a somewhat comprehensive database of online vitals data records (birth, marriage and death) for the state of WV, one can visit the following website:
http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_select.aspx
One must remember, however, that due to privacy laws, etc, "ALL" years (especially those after say, 1958 or so, for deaths) are not represented. The available records for each county are listed along the right side of each database, so one can quickly see the limits of said database. Additional records are apparently being added every year, so keep checking back.
Check it out - you might find much needed genealogical-related information on a long-lost ancestor.
