Hi, Mike,
I am very interested in the Pleasant Dunaway/Nancy White family. My gggrandmother was their daughter, Mary Susan Dunaway. She married Richard Joseph Blackwell who had previously been married to her sister, Sarah A. R. Dunaway. Richard's sister, Margaret Eugenia Sussanah Frances Blackwell was married to their son, Moses Dunaway. It was reported to me that Moses shot and killed his father-in-law, Alfred Blackwell. This incident was reported by Eugene Blackwell of Spokane, Washington in the Blackwell Researcher.
I had not heard the possibility that Mary Susan's father might not have been Pleasant. Please share any information you have. I have a picture of Mary Susan Dunaway Blackwell and also one of Moses, if you are interested. I am diligently searching for old photographs of ancestors. If anyone can help, please contact me.
