Sherry, yes, this does help...Not right at this minute but it gives me something to work on...And thanks much for the time frames makes all the difference...See the Wilburns were in Halifax, Va at that time...
but I would certainly not make the claim that Eliz (unk) was a Wilburn...But I do know that one Wilburn family married into the Dunnaway family that lived in Rutherford Co TN circa 1825- and then later went to Fleming Co KY...and married into Wilburns of Fleming KY...But I think they did not meet in Fleming and instead knew each other in Rutherford Co KY...It seems like the Wilburns followed their in-laws (Dunaways to Fleming KY)...Not your direct ancestors, but kin to your kin...If I have this figured correctly...I just know that the Dunaways of Fleming Co KY (in 1850) were from Rutherford TN...Alfred Dunaway was father-in-law of Jesse Wilburn who was born in TN...But I think the Dunaways and Wilburns knew each other back another generation or two in Halfiax, VA....So what I am presenting is some facts mixed with speculation...And I could be wrong on the spec part...We'll see.
Again, you have been most helpful...Much appreciated.I will get back to you when I learn more.
Best regards,
Vikky
