Does anyone have any information on William F. Dunaway, b. ca. 1826 in probably Walton Co., Ga. He was married ca. 1849 to Nellie Jane LNU. They had 5 children, Mary E., Missouria A., James Floyd, Lucy J., and John W. He was the second child of Jonathan W. and Elizabeth Dunaway. Jonathan and Elizabeth are found on the Ga. census as follows: 1820 Walton Co., Ga.; 1830 Hall Co., Ga.; 1840 Hall Co., Ga.; 1850 Forsyth Co., Ga.; 1860 Forsyth Co., Ga.; 1870 Forsyth Co., Ga., Jonathan had passed away and Elizabeth is in the house with son Robert. My father told me that his grandfather John W. Dunaway said his father (William F.) left to fight in the Civil War and never returned. I have seen in this forum that there was a William in Miss. Could my William have left his Ga. family and started a new family somewhere else? Any help will be appriciated. God Bless, Dian
