Looking for any information on the background of William Henderson Dunaway - born in Tennessee in 1817, died in Kentucky or Tennessee before 1880. He and his family drifted around north-western Tennessee and Kentucky (in a different place at the time of each census. One son, Madison, and a daughter Mary Ann, settled in Stewart County, Tennessee. Another son James lived in Smith County, TN for a while then died in Kentucky. Sons Henderson and William seem to have stayed in Kentucky while son Rufus went out to Missouri then settled in Arkansas. Not sure what happened to daughters Arminda/Amanda and Sarah. William Henderson Dunaway was married to a woman named Elizabeth, possibly with the surname Green. I have zero information on either of their backgrounds or families and would appreciate anything that might be out there. Thank you.
