There has not been a middle name that I have ever seen in the legal papers associated with William Dunaway (1807 - 1891)nor is there one on his grave stone. His wife's name is stated as Nancy W. (1806 - 1892)on the same stone. Some references state her maiden name as Robertson and others Roberson,however their son John William Dunaway (1834 - ?) stated it as Pearcy in a state of Tennessee survey of former confederate soldiers that he submitted about 1913.
