I have 2 DUNAWAY sisters who married 2 SIMPSON brothers
They moved to IA but they came from Barren Co, KY.
ELIZA J. DUNAWAY SIMPSON, b. 1834; d. 1915
HARRIET DUNAWAY SIMPSON, b. 1842; d. 1925

These Dunaways had a history of marrying cousins.
