I am trying to find any information on Major General John Dun of Shawpark Selkirkshire, Scotland.
He had one child Jane Henrietta Dun who was born in East India 1818 can find no record of mothers name.
She married Henry Dillon boylan can find no record of marriage.
John married Dorothea Henderson in 1832 in Selkirk, I can find no record of John marrying before and I don't think Dorothea is Jane's mother.
John was an officer in the Bengal Army for the East Indian Company. It would be great if anyone can tell me if there would be a picture somewhere of John as he was an officer, if so where I could search for it.
