Looking for Michael Dumford

Michael Dumford died in Fayette Co, KY in 1792; likely in the area which became Clark Co, KY.He had a will;his children are named in it.His wife Sevilla (Sibilla, or Civiliar) survived him; she purchased a slave and was listed in tax records in Clark Co, KYin 1793.
He lived in KY from about 1779; he signed a number of petitions to the Virginia state legislature, and his taxes are recorded in Fayette Co, VA;he owned land there.

It is difficult for me to believe that the John killed in 1779 is the person named in a 1790 will, though some have claimed that to be the case.Daniel may have been married twice, and Sarah (Sally) Horn would have been his second wife.Solomon was married twice, and Susannah Knott was his second wife. Both Daniel and Solomon moved to Clermont Co, OH and died there, both with large families.
