Thank you very much for taking the time to post a message. I had found that same source and would like to put it out there that Christian Dull Jr. did not die at the battle of German Town. He died much later on March 7, 1840. I have included a summary of his will as proof.
The Inventory of the estate of the will of Christian Dull dated March 7, 1840 Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County came to a total of $386.82.
On March 8, 1840 widow Elizabeth Dull released all of her right and title to administration of the estate and appointed her son in law Samuel Custer administrator to the estate. Her daughter Catherine and Mary signed as witnesses. The public sale of part of the goods and Chattels of Christian Dull took place March 27, 1840.
Samuel Custer sold 30 acres of the estate's land to Joseph Kohl for $2,555.00 whom was the highest bidder. The deed lists Christian's heirs as follows: James, Mary, Charles, Catherine, Hannah (wife of John Davis), Sarah (wife of Edwin Coates), Teresa (wife of petitioner), six grandchildren, Elizabeth (wife of John Stallman), Ephraim Boyer and Charles Boyer, children of Elizabeth Dull and Henry Boyer.
