I notice you have an unmarried Margaret Dull, daughter of an unnamed son of Christain Dull. Christain fought in the battle of Germantown. Also at that battle was William Rittenhouse. His son, William Johnson, who settled in Briarcreek, had a son named Henry (b. 1892). Bradsby's history of Luzerne County says that this Henry Rittenhouse and Margaret Dull were the parents of William Henry Rittenhouse--"the only son by the first marriage." I can find no other explanation for who might be William Henry's parents, but most accounts only show one mariage for Henry. He married Rachel Hutton a month before William Henry was reportedly born. If Bradsby didn't get this completely wrong, this suggests to me death in childbirth (with dates mixed up) or, far more likely, illegitimate birth. If there was an unmarried mother, your Margaret Dull would be a prime candidate (family connections, never married). Do you have any Dull data that might support or refute this notion?
