Morgan, it has been two years since you posted on this forum, but thought you might still be interested. Go to http://files.usgwarchives.org/nc/onslow/court/ward12.txt and click on Edward Ward et al v. Daniel M. Dulaney. I think you will find it very interesting.
Daniel Merrill Dulaney did not have any children with Alice Ward Loomis. They were divorced before he moved to MS. Alice Ward Loomis was the Aunt of my g.g.grandfather Nathaniel Loomis Mitchell. She raised him after the death of his mother in his childbirth. I have a lot of data on Daniel M. Dulaney and will be happy to share it with you.
