Kevin, I have information about some of the people you asked about. My ggggrandfather, Charles Duncan's sister Lavinia Duncan b 1750, Stafford Co. VA, d. 1820 Pendleton Co. KY, m. John Barrow Lightfoot, ca 1772 in Culpeper Co. VA.He was the son of William Lightfoot and Elizabeth Barrow.
Their fourth child, Robert Lightfoot, b. 1771, Culpeper Co. VA; d. ca. 1840 Fountain, Indiana m. Joanna Dulaney, July 10, 1794, Culpeper Co. VA.
A son of Charles Duncan--and brother to my gggrandfather, Dillard Dulaney Duncan--b. April 21, 1787, Fauquier Co. VA.; d. Jan 10, 1860, Warren Co. KY, m. (1) Harriet Ann Dulaney, d/o Joseph Dulaney and Sarah Luceford on April 2, 1812 in Culpeper Co. VA.HAD b. March 6, 1794, d. Jan 19, 1835, Warren Co. KY.They had nine children, one of whom married Margaret Dulaney. His name was William Edwin Duncan.
Sarah Eliza Duncan b. Mar. 04, 1813, d. 1835 in KY, eldest d/o Edmund and Harriet Dulaney Duncan m. French Claiborne Dulaney, b. ca 1805.Their daughter, Harriet Ann Dulaney m. William J. Hobson from Bowling Green KY.
While I could't locate the page tonight for verification, there was a French Duncan also, but the note says "died in the southwest."
There are many, many more recurrences of the Dulaney with the Duncan name.
I hope this helps you somewhat with your history search.
